I used Two Men And A Truck on August 7th 2015 for a very simple move from their Dallas Georgia location. I had only eleven pieces of furniture to move and a small color printer that weighed maybe 70 lbs. I was given a quote for the move of $375.00 for three and a half hours moving time. After the three and a half hours the price would be an additional $130.00 per hour for two men. Knowing that I only had 12 items to move and I was only moving 30 minutes away I agreed, thinking that even if the move goes over 3 and a half hours there is no way it should take longer than four hours seeing that I was only moving 12 items. During the first hour Two Men And A Truck called me to see how the move was going so far, at that point everything was fine. Shortly after that phone call the move slowed down. I started to load my furniture on their truck myself to speed things up a bit, then they asked me to stop doing that. One of the two men with Two Men And A Truck was badly out of shape and often stopped at our refrigerator to get his drink, (he put it in there without our permission). Then he made frequent stops to our bathroom. The movers would bring am item to their truck and then I wouldn’t see them for a few minutes. They milked this job and dragged it out to over five hours costing me over $675.00. They also tagged on a $55.00 travel charge that no one explained to me, in fact they didn’t even tell me the final cost of the move until after they charge it to my credit card. When I asked why I was being charged so much the answer I got was “look guy I don’t have time to argue I’m late for my next move”. I actually tipped these guys before I was given the final cost, that was a mistake. Five hours for two movers to move 12 items, thats more that 30 minutes per item. If I had these guys move the entire house it would have taken them a month. At the end of it all they also left a part for my clothes dry behind and lost some bolts to a 19th century dresser. They setup my kings size bed for me but failed to tighten the bolts securely, two days later I had to redo that.

If anyone plans to use Two Men And A Truck, expect to spend twice as much money as they quote you. I was a returning customer I had good experiences with them in the past from the same location, but that was years ago and this most recent move they riped me off and they wouldn’t work with me on the price. Suckers don’t come back! See you Two Men And A Truck you just lost a returning customer.
