United Online NetZero, NetZero Broadband, NetZero Wireless Returns misrepresent product to induce sale, refuse to refund money on worthless product Vanencia, California
When I contacted them about a refund, at first they refused, then they finally offered to refund the cost of the product only, not the $26+ shipping charges I incurred for both ways, charges that are only there because they lied and misrepresented their product in order to make a sale. I have contacted both the BBB in their area, and the Federal Trade Commission (877-392-4357, if anyone is interested). This may seem like a small amount, but I'm sure I'm not the only one they have pulled this crap on, and it could add up to a tidy sum if people continue to "write it off" because of the fairly small amount of money involved. They probably count on this.
