Verizon Wireless I was not notified or aware of data usage until I seen that my cellular wireless service bill was $1300 plus for the month of March. Nationwide

Concern : Overage for data use $1300 plus for March. Unaware of the data usage. No notification. 

They said "someone" must have turned off your data notication messages. 

I explained, i wasnt even sure how to do that.

I was completely blind sided by the cost and now obligation to repay $1300 , plus i had to change my plan in April to 100G $800 plan as they say I am over again and it will be cheaper if I just pay the $800 for April.

I was ignorant to the details on how this works. In addition, I was not educated via a Verizon Rep on data usage etc.

 With as long as the web has been around, YOU have no excuse for NOT being educated on data use. For you to get that much of a bill, YOU were over A LOT!!!! Exactly how much streaming on your devices are YOU doing?? How you can sit there and blame Verizon for YOUR issues is beyond me. Take some responsibility like an ADULT!!! YOU have used the data, PERIOD!!!! Verizon has ZERO control over HOW YOU are using data!!!! So STOP blaming THEM for what YOU WILLINGLY DID!!!!!!! Use a little common sense!!!! If you are using that much data then YOU are online a lot and have no excuse for looking up HOW data is used. The ONLY excuse YOU can give is that YOU are LAZY and IGNORANT!!! Ignorance can be fixed but your laziness CAN NOT!!!! Grow up and educate yourself.
