I tried the Sam's Club gas station for the first time today and the pump added 2 cents to the price before I even began to pump. I know it's not a lot of money; but if they do this to everyone, then over the course of time Wal-Mart will net a lot of money off the situation. They are probably betting on the fact that not many people will say anything about it because it is only a very small amount from each person, but it will add up for them.

Sam's Club gas pumps will charge you higher prices unless you scan your membership card before you start pumping. It says so in big red letters on the pump.

An inspector from the Dept. of Agriculture called me and told me that he had checked out the pumps and they were all starting at zero, so maybe I just had a glitch. I'll try them another time to see if it reoccurs and let you all know.
