Watch Repair USA Adam Carpintieri Company Broke my functioning watch when sent to them for repairs Rockville Center New York

I sent Watch Repairs USA my fully functioning Seiko watch for a replacement crystal and general cleaning/new gaskets.

Their first estimate was fair and I agreed to it. Days later they told me that upon further inspection, the watch needed more work and a new estimate was offered. And additionally, the watch no longer worked so it would cost much more to fix. I spoke with company principle, Adam Carpintieri, trying to reach an agreement. He admitted fault, but did nothing to fix my now broken watch. So I asked to have it back, and it was returned.

Back in my possession, it was found to work just fine-as it did when I sent it. So it was not broken, in reality. They tried to charge me for repairs not needed and they were intransigent towards an amicable solution.
