Hello ..my name is Heather and I am from NC and yes, we too have been victims of Wells Fargo.. Here is a bit of history.. We had 2 vehicles financed with Wells
one a truck and one car

It started with harassing phonecalls...day after payment was due.. "Your payment has not been made" they would say..Then they would look after prodding..Oh,you are right..it has been made..they would then say..
Day after day this goes on..

Maybe 5 months into the loan on the truck..We got a lesson about Balboa Insurance...We were cussed out,told it wasn't their job to contact our insurance company..we were told we were notified ...My fiance was constantly harassed on his cell phone,which is his work phone(truck driver),they demanded we pay it,threatned to ruin his credit,insulted him and said obviuosly you can't afford the vehicle since you financed it,my 6 year old son was in the vehicle while this gets heated,he comes home in tears,stressed out,scared they are going to "steal" his daddies truck.. He starts worrying,my son,that he needs to hide his dirt bike,because they might take it...
Pressure,pressure from them to pay,I called to speak to a supervisor,more pressure and was told that she could not review how this lady spoke to my fiance,because the conversations WERE NOT recorded...no I am sorry,let me help you file a report..BUT.."WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR THE INSURANCE"... I had enough at thhis point...I told her NEVER
I get Balboa on the phone
am told it will take two weeks..UGH..I tell the guy..NO we are getting it straight today..
He needs permission to make a call to my insurance company...I told him GET IT and I will hold..
He then comes back online and lo and behold there is our insurance information online,says it is an adres mixup,FUNNY,I told him because our auto statements and payment reciepts from Wells make it here every month like clock work..
He makes a 3 way call to Wells,all is taken care of.. Then I find Rip Off Report...and what I read is like a novel and then I know,it isn't going to end there..

So,next day I call Wells,Insurance is still showing needing to be paid...100.00 past month tacked on to carpayment for next month along with another 100.00 for the month coming..

I call Balboa back,I make them call Wells again and again,till I get the cancellation letter in the mail.

Whew,I did I think!!

Not less than 4 days after getting the cancellation notice,they say we never made or first vehicle payment,what,it is 8 months later,and they decide they are missing a payment... Said our first payment was due in Dec..we call the dealership,first payment was due in Jan as we had done..sent that to them... OK,I am thinking ,now we are done...

Wrong again,Now they call and say we are 2 months behind....WHAT,when the insurance battle was going on ,all we owed was insurance,now we are 2 months behind...so off to BB&T and the branch manager,gets on the phone,faxes trtacking number...Well it is over a month of this and still not straightened and they are trying to repo vehicle and when we tried to make our "normal"July payment,automated turned us over to a rep,he wnts to know where my fiance works, Now I know they are definatelytrying to repo and have been unable to get because we have the vehicle blocked in..with an 18 wheeler..He told us only way we could make a payment for "past due amount" was to lock in our checking account....HUH,ok Wells,I have bumped my head the day I give you access to draft monies out of our account..They have cost us monies having to buy a new car and becausewe had not been in the one vehicle long,the new finance company had to buy part of our loan and the rest was out of our pocket..now i am in a loan that i am upside down in..we have equity in the other vehicle but will probably lose that if we can sell or trade it..

It has and is causing so much distress in our home and they have called so much,that my son recognizes the number and immediately,starts ranting how he is going to our police friends to have them put in jail..I try to protect my son from the evils of this world,but this has gone to far when a finance company causes this much disruption in so many peoples lives..My fiance even had to be rushed to the hospital,out of his 18 wheeler,because he thought he was having a heart attack. My 6 year old I constantly have to reassure,that we will be ok and Mommy is going to make this right...So I plan to keep my promise...

Here are some things that will help
DO NOT LET THEM BULLY YOU
CALL BALBOA AND MAKE THEM CALL WELLS UNTIL IT I S TAKEN CARE OF
DO NOT PAY THE INSURANCE

CHECK THE REPO LAWS IN YOUR STATE
NC...THEY HAVE TO REPO PEACEFULLY,IF YOU ASK THEM TO LEAVE..THEY HAVE TOO OR THEY ARE TRESPASSING
THEY CANNOT CUT A FENCE,OPEN A GATE OR MOVE ANYTHING TO GET TO THE VEHICLE.. OR THEY ARE IN HOT WATER FOR SURE THEN.
MAKE THEM HAVE TO GET A COURT ORDER TO REMOVE VEHICLE SO YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW A JUDGE YOU ARE NOT AT FAULT
OUR POLICE DEPT TOLD US THEY DO NOT ASSIST THEM IN REPOS..ALOT OF THEM WILL THREATEN TO CALL POLICE,TO SCARE YOU INTO RELEASING YOUR VEHICLE
ALSO TAKE YOUR PAPER WORK AND PROOF YOU ARE NOT BEHIND TO YOUR SHERIFF'S DEPT AND LET THEM KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.
THE TRUCK IS BLOCKED IN AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE WAITING ON,THE COURT ORDER OR A BUYER FOR IT..

I OFFER THIS AS ADVICE,BUT PLEASE CHECK WITH YOU POLICE DEPT IN YOUR STATE OR AN ATTORNEY FOR THE REPO LAWS THERE..


THERE ARE MANY THINGS WELLS WILL TRY
FORCED INSURANCE
LATE PAMENTS
IF YOU SELL YOUR CAR,WHICH WE DID SELL ONE AND HAD TO BATTLE OVER A MONTH THAT IT HAD BEEN PAID OFF..
THEY WILL LOSE YOUR PAYMENT THEY WILL FORCE YOU INTO MAKING PAYMENTS YOU DON'T OWE..DON'T DO IT...GET A BANK CHECK,FORWARD WITH SIG,DELIVERY,THEY CAN'T USE THE EXCUSE OF HOLDING IT,AS IT IS GOOD AS CASH AND THEY AHVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR CCOUNT AND YOU HAVE PROOF THEY SIGNED FOR IT STAND YOUR GROUND AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!!!!!!!

Wells fargo you disgust me,thinking that being an American gives you the right to rip off "the true Americans" who work and sweat to pay their bills so you can steal their cars that they need to work and support their families with...You are no better than the terroist that our soliders are hunting down..
