Wilshire Consumer Credit WAWO this is the worst company and they’re reviews show that I would recommend you never to use this company and if you have exhausted all other options like fast cash companies, personal load companies and even loan sharks and have no choice be prepare to lose your money and time just trying to get them to assist you and having them over bill you for everything!

Our Company Truck was stolen as we are a small company this really hurt us as we rely on our trucks to deliver and pick up merchandise. After two weeks the truck was recovered by LAPD on October 9th 2017 and we thank them for their fast service and assistance. On October 11th 2017 our insurance company accompanied by us went to US Tow where the truck was being held to pick up the vehicle for repair and inspection. When we arrived we were informed that Wilshire Consumer Credit had already picked up our vehicle with no communication to us please keep in mind at this point we paid for a tow truck to pick up the truck and payments were up today so it WAS NOT A REPO.

When we called Wilshire Consumer Credit we got the run around they didn’t know where the truck and they said they couldn’t give us any information till we paid the repo fees and tow fees! We tried to explain to “Alan” from Wilshire Consumer Credit over and over it wasn’t a repo but a stolen vehicle recovery I don’t blame Alan I blame whoever trained him if anyone did he then told us he would have someone call us back.  We called back day till these day Alan still thinks it’s a repo GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (NOT). We finally got transferred to Claudia Tafolla a Supervisor with Wilshire Consumer Credit that advice us that is not a repo but we would have to pay tow fees and storage fees of $1,392.82 in order to get the location of our truck for inspection it took 5 days just to get that information “GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (NOT).

We then issued a certified check the next day and shipped it next day air they received it on October 19th by a Tong in their El Monte office and cashed and deposited on the 20th. We have spoken to Alan, Michael Ramirez, Rosa Bold, Jocelyn Reboledo, Claudia Taffola (Worse Supervisor) and two others and still no resolution. It is now October 26, 2017 Wilshire consumer Credit has cost our company $225.00 in a tow not used $2,835.00 in unnecessary Vehicle rentals because they will not release our truck for repair or inspection and over 34 man hours trying to get any answer or response or resolution to a simple matter.  Our loan with Wilshire consumer Credit could have already been paid off if they would have just released our truck with everything they have made us pay already. This is the worse company and has the worse customer service ever don’t use them don’t make the same mistake we made I hope or lesson will help other look for any other company that’s not Wilshire consumer credit.

Here are other companies you can use:

www.sofi.com

www.marcus.com

www.top10personalloans.com

You’re better off than losing money and time trying to get your own vehicle back I could only imagine if it was a repo how worse thing could have been  and how bad it must be for those who lose more then we have .. avoid …do not use .. Beware

Get Your Fact Straight

Let get this straight and I hope you read the complaint again just to CLEAR your facts. We have never been on late on a payment and us Tow cost was $65 storage for the time it’s been there and $328 for the towing that’s a cost of that’s $393 just to help you with the math AGAIN THIS WAS NOT A REPO.  When we went to pick up the truck we also had to pay for the towing so add another cost to us. Now let’s get into the UNUSAUL part to better assist you with your facts.

We paid the $1,392.82 that’s over $1000.00 more then we should of (AGAIN IT NOT A REPO) and we have called and called and called to get any information to pick up the truck for repair and inspection and till this day these situation has still not been resolved and the truck has not been repaired or inspected and we are still short one truck. I think it would be in the company’s best interest to help the customer get their money and move on correct like any professional lien or loan company.

Not sure if you own a company or have ever dealt with customers but don’t you think if you help them one and get it over it leaves you time for the next customer (think about it) so I stand by my complaint these company has costed me more than the loan and has provided me with the worse customer service ever so before you write something like what you did remember this the customer is always right till proven wrong and even then there still right. And FYI customers referrals count for over 45% of repeat business and referrals

The Facts

The are the lienholder and yes, they have the right to pick up to truck. Any storage fees would be on them. It is to their interest to get the truck out of there. Any insurance reimbursement also goes to them as the lienholder. If you were late before this collision, that's also bad for you. There is nothing unusual about this. Any tow yard will notify the lienholder when a vehicle is picked up.
