World Wide Travel, Worldwide Traveler's Club Rip-off traveler's scheme - Don't even talk to them!! Clearwater, Florida

I am another person that was duped by these people.  I was called and like everyone else figured that they had the routing number and I had 3 days to look it over it was no big deal.  They called and said I had won a free trip and they would send me a package of their company to look over and if I decided not to join, I could call and cancel.  Before the three days they had already hit my account for $149.  I called and was told to go to www.cancelmymembership.com to get a refund since I never got my package.  Since 8/2009 I have tried multiple times to get a refund.  I have been told that the 1st check was sent to the wrong zip code - the second time someone else cashed the check; then I couldn't get thru to the phone number at all. 

After a YEAR I got back thru (the phone was actually answered and didn't just ring off the hook) and was told by a Ryan Weber at ext. 308 and Brian at x 301 apologizing profusely and telling me they would PERSONALLY send my check over night and someone would call me the next day with the tracking number.  No call; no tracking number, and once again I can't get thru (although everyone else can - so they must block all my numbers).  I took it one step further and filed with the Florida BBB.  They came to the conclusion of doing nothing since they couldn't get World Wide to respond!  WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!  Don't bother with the BBB - they are a worthless organization in my opinion!  No sense in filing a complaint if they don't do anything about it.  I find it very interesting that the entire Clearwater area knows of this scam from the many complaints and NO ONE has the nerve to shut this place down!  Maybe someone else's pockets are getting lined?  What do you guys think?
