Zillow Undervalue Home Seattle, Washington
*Consumer Comment: Zillow values are not accurate anywhere
We purchased our home from foreclosure. Our neighbors purchase their home from foreclosure. We both paid approximately the same price within one month of each other. Both homes are approximately comparable including lot size. However, for some reason Zillow continues to undervalue our home by $60,000.00. I have tried to email Zillow without success as they have no direct contact information.

Zillow values are not accurate anywhere

Zillow uses an automated valuation model to determine "market value" of the homes in its database. The valuations are not accurate, nor are they meant to be an accurate reflection of your market. Their AVM is just a confidential formula they use. It generates site interest and discussion interest, but in no way is an accurate reflection of actual market value. If you are looking for an accurate valuation, contact an appraiser. If you are looking for an approximate market value, contact a Realtor. Otherwise, just ignore the valuations on Zillow.
