AA Locks aa-locks.com/home Installed a lock that doesn’t work

They came out to get me in my house after I locked myself out. I was told they would need to destroy the lock and I would need a new one. It took 40 min to get the lock off and then the new lock was installed. After it was installed I was told the total was $396. When I questioned it I was told it was $180 each for the lock remove and for the new lock. By this time it has been about, it was 10 at night, and I was outside with my two children so I paid it.

2 days later when I left my house for the first time I realized the lock doesn't lock from the outside. I called to ask the. To take the lock back and give me a refund. They sent the same locksmith out who said he can fix it. I told him I don't want it fixed because it should have already been working, the paint on my door was already all messed up, I didn't trust it to be fixed after the first job was done, and I was going to have my apartments install the lock. He took my card info and told me it was to refund me. After that he said his boss said he can't refund me.

I called back the company who said they can't give me the managers number and to get it from my technician that was there. They said the reason for this is because they are just a switch board. The technician said he can't refund me or give me the managers number and left. I called back the company and they said they couldn't find my information. They have no record of me calling and suggested that maybe I called the wrong place. I had called this number 3 times so I know I had the right place.

After this I wasn't getting anywhere and disputed my credit card charge since I didn't get the service I paid for since I don't have a working lock. I also cancelled my credit card since he took my credit card info for nothing. Don't use them. On their site they say they are 5 stars on yelp but they are not even on yelp. It was a total scam.
