My Experience:
This company is a complete scam and should not even be in business. My claim was handled by adjuster Pricilla Gutierrez, and she was hands down the rudest, most dishonest, and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with.
This started as a hit-and-run accident. I made the mistake of being nice to the woman who hit me, sparing her the hit-and-run charge and thinking we could solve it without dragging insurance into it. She admitted fault and apologized in text messages. She even went to the police station, handed over her driver’s license, phone number, and insurance.
Despite that, Anchor General/Pacific Star tried to deny my claim for 5 MONTHS.
I gave them:

A police report
-
A supplemental police report (which I had to waste hours driving to get)
-
Photos showing the matching damage on both cars

And finally, text messages where their insured admitted fault and apologized
Even with all that, Pricilla told me there “wasn’t enough evidence” and flat out said they weren’t going to pay. When I told her I had text messages, she called me a liar. Only after I sent screenshots did she finally issue a check — and even then, she dragged it out.
How They Treat Customers:

Pricilla never returned a single phone call in 5 months. I called 4–5 times a week. She told me I had to email to schedule a call — but she ignored those emails too.

When she finally spoke to me, she was condescending, combative, and cruel. She wasted more time arguing and playing the victim than actually resolving my case.

Her supervisor, Lupe White, was just as bad — straight to voicemail every time, never a single call back.

Other staff (like Aurora) cut me off mid-sentence and threw me into useless voicemail boxes instead of helping.
This company has no chain of command, no accountability, and no integrity. It’s a toxic culture of gaslighting, stalling, and stonewalling.
The Reality:
This was one of the simplest cases imaginable. The driver admitted fault. The police had her information. I had physical proof, photos, and written apologies. This claim could have been resolved in under a week.
Instead, Anchor General / Pacific Star dragged me through 5 months of emotional exhaustion, wasted time, and abuse just to finally do the right thing.
And it’s not just me — over 1,200 other reviewers online report the exact same nightmare. That’s only the ones who took the time to write. Imagine how many more people never posted a review.
Final Warning:
Anchor General Insurance / Pacific Star Insurance is corrupt, dishonest, and operates in bad faith. They will do everything possible to deny or delay your claim, even with undeniable evidence.
Do yourself a favor: RUN the other way. Report them to the BBB and warn others.
Companies like this do not deserve to exist.
