Aspen Haus - Lincoln, NE / Perry Reid Properties 1500 Knox Street, Lincoln BEWARE ASPEN HAUS APARTMENTS - Lincoln, NE : Dirty Water Leaking through Apt. Ceilings/ High Rent Increases Lincoln NE - Nebraska

Con at this property is that rent increases $75/month after lease is up but problems in apartments not corrected.  New tenants rental prices are lower.  This property is not secure as Property Manager maintains.  All food delivery personnel in Lincoln have the codes to this building.  Advised by Perry Reid personnel that security cameras on Aspen Haus building are not operating.  Microwaves and other appliances not provided and there is no clubhouse at this property as pamphlet advertised. 

Pamphlets and website advertise microwaves and other amenities that are not being provided to residents.  Not enough parking spaces for number of apartments then told by PM you will need to park on side of street.  Apartments/property not being maintained.  Property Manager claims she is unaware of multiple issues in apartments but tenants have reported these same issues often to PM. 

 Furnace filters are not getting changed regularly.  My filter only changed once in 8 months.  Major problems with dirty water leaks in ceilings and mold.  Spiders and large roaches found in apartments.  Corrective action is NOT being taken by PM - Danielle Barkley.   Rumors of tenants wrongfully evicted for complaints to PM and harassment by other tenants was permitted and covered up.
