I do not live in Pennsylvania. I live in Massachusetts... I am not and have not collected or filed for unemployment compensation in decades. I tried numerous times to call these people and was put on hold over and over again... over a half hour at the minimum with nobody ever picking up the phone.
I dont know if someone is using my social security number or has been. I do know the U.S.Bank Reliacard doesn’t give a d**n and the return address on each envelope I've received Reads as follows …. Dept of Treasury UC Disbursements, Room 400 Labor & Industry Buildin, 651 Boas Street Harrisburg, PA 17121-0750

PUA payments on ReliaCard - Billions of dollars FRAUD causing months of delay, with no back pay (as promised)

From recent online legitimate news articles that I've read, the unemployment office in most states is severely understaffed, given the glut of current claims. Adding to this problem are clever fraudsters, who have found a way to get PUA payments, worth millions (even billions.) Rather than staffing up, these state government offices are deleting previous needed online options (without warning, or explanation) in their website's automated software systems, and reverting to manual certifications instead - causing themselves even more work!
There is now a huge backlog to obtain your promised unemployment backpay, and it may take until 2021 to get these overdue funds, worth thousands to each legitimate applicant. Panicked unemployed are left thinking they did something wrong, and will forfeit their survival funds, since they can't get through for help. This has then caused a tsunami of incessant phone calls, to a single phone number listed for customer service, to both the states' Unemployment and the related ReliaCard - and now you're lucky to even get a recording, telling you "no one is available to take your call." Please stop the insanity: eliminate the inoperable phone numbers; answer our emails with at least a form letter; and hire emergency staff ASAP
