Went to purchase tickets for a local comedy show at a local theater. The tickets were $40 each. I clicked on purchase 4 tickets and the total of $177 was shown. Makes sense for 4 tickets and a modest service charge. I hit purchase. The next thing I know I get a receipt for $927.35 - what the heck??

Turns out I was switched to this site called Bold Tickets and each ticket was $177 each and they added $219 in service fees obviously none of which was shown before the purchase else no one in their right mind would buy. Of course you can't talk to anyone on the phone so I resorted to email and they said - "no refunds or cancellations". This is a criminal offense.

I went back on the theater's website and was able to buy tickets for the same show, the same date, the same row for a total of $175.00. They stole $750.35 from me. THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!
