Camp-A-Rama RV dealer deceptive and failed to honor what was promised. Stuck with damaged RV and they don't respond Benton Kentucky

Stay Away! Poor performance and no desire to make it right. Purchased a new camper last spring via phone. I arranged shipping to my location and because it was sight-unseen, I asked many times and was promised several times the unit was perfect and had no issues. Upon receipt, it was immediately obvious they're either clueless or lied to get a sale. Huge water leak in ceiling that was from the factory. Some incompetent service person tried to seal it by smearing sealer all over the roof but failed to address the reason for the leak - a crack in the lens. Outside speakers didn't work, leaking water line, peeling wall paper and trim, wrong size spare tire, dented fridge door, missing TP holder/bedspread, slide-out not aligned, chipped paint, countless missing screws just to name a few. Was told "we'll fix it - just return it the 750 miles at my cost! Really?

Not only that, they screwed up paperwork for DMV which forced me to pay the tax TWICE in order to register it. No apologies or effort to resolve that either. After 25 phone calls (including from my local DMV), emails, and threats to get the police involved, they finally refunded me my overpayment. Then, to top it all off, Therron Gourley (GM) told me "I bent over backwards" to help me! Really? I Fed-Ex'd a check to them for the FULL amount, arranged all the shipping, and excused them of any setup/training. He did NOTHING but make everything difficult. Lastly, he agreed (emails to prove it) to pay up to $100 difference for the wrong spare tire they sent me if I purchased a new one and sold the old one. I did them a favor by finding one on FB which costs ONLY $15 more. Have emailed the receipt and called over 12 times and still no response or refund.

Really? After all this, Camp-A-Rama is gonna screw me for not only all the broken/damaged items, but the lousy $15 your promised to pay me? I never would have predicted this level of repeated poor service from any dealer. My experience will be also be shared with Forest River as well. Lets hope FR will reconsider them as a dealer. Pretty sure thats not the level of quality FR expects. I hope my experience prevents other people from having the same bad experience. There are many choices out there and no reason to accept such a wide-ranging level poor level of poor service. Gave them many, many opportunities to resolve even the minor things, and they simply failed. Pretty websites and pics don't show the real story. Go elsewhere!
