In June an agreement was made to perform until Oct 1, 2018.
On one occasion an offer was made to drive to Atlanta for an agreed upon amount in leau of air fare. I was shorted, there was a discussion, I was later compensated. 1st red flag.
On 8/18/18 and 8/26/18 this band did not pay agreed upon fees. After 8/26/18 a request was made for a 'proposal' for a trip to Portsmith Maine. A proposal was given where upon temporary amnesio set in and my fees were forgotten.
In Lee county court final judgement for the plaintiff. Musicians beware, get everything in writing or contract form. Text messages and emails are considered legal documents and can be used as evidence in a court of law.
