Dave's Auto Transport LLC David Morris falsely advertised a car hauler and terms of sale in Middletown New York

David Morris, owner of Dave's Auto Transport LLC of Middletown, New York falsely advertised a car hauler he had for sale.  Mr. Morris claimed the motor of the truck had, as of his first advertising for sale of same, been recently rebuilt and that the truck air conditioning of truck "blew ice cold."  However, Mr. Morris provided no document(s) to support the motor rebuild, and the truck air conditioning was inoperative. 

Also, Mr. Morris's explanation that the trailer sold with the tractor was missing its vehicle identification number plate because the unit had recently been repainted was never proven; in fact, the repair shop Mr. Morris identified as having performed the repaint had no record or recollection of such service.  Furthermore, Mr. Morris owes the buyer $1,072.00 of the $2,000.00 Mr. Morris promised to pay the buyer from proceeds of the sale. 

In addition to repair of the air conditioning, Mr. Morris's behavior throughout the sale, including his refusal to process paperwork, cost the buyer to lose more than a week's income.
