I have had a First Progress Card for years. I only put avg $50.00 purchase on it every 6 mos to keep it active. In 2020 I requested to close the account. I went online to their website - my account and found that there is NO WAY to close an account, no phone number to call only a PO BOX to write to. Who does business this way. ONLY SCAMMERS....
I sent a certified letter. It went unclaimed, Then First Progress Card ate up all my cash deposit on bogus fees, annual membership charge, late fees etc and never returned my mail requests and ruined my credit. BE AWARE. I know others who experienced the same. This company is owned by Synovus Bank and operates as a deposit scam with ZERO customer service. Next I'm filiing a complaint with OCC and Gov't regulators so you aren't the next victim.
My $300.00 was nothing. However, it's fraudulent business and they need to be stopped.
