I called for a jump start because my car had not been driven for a while. It was old, but well-maintained and reliable. A geezer tech arrived in a wrecker approximately two hours later. He immediately made me sign a waiver and charged my card $75. He attached the battery box for approximately 10 seconds. The car started right away. When I got out of the car to attend other business and he thought I wasn't looking, he detached the box. When it stopped because the battery hadn't been charged sufficiently, he told me it had a bad alternator and tried to hard sell me a "special limited offer" tow to the dealership 30 miles away. When an honest person jump-started it for me after he left, my car ran and drove fine. Acura of Peoria can verify this fact. I immediately reported this to the tech via text. He told me to call the office. Upon speaking with the owner of the business, he said "don't tell me how to run my business" and hung up on me. This company is fully aware that they are ripping off consumers. It may be criminal fraud. Report them to the police and the Department of Public Safety, which licenses towing companies. LADIES ESPECIALLY- DO NOT TRUST THESE CON ARTISTS.
