I called within minutes of submitting an application when I realized that this was a third party and the representative kept me on the phone providing no assistance until the email came through telling me that an EIN had been assigned. At that point, he then informed me that it was too late to cancel. Should he have processed when I initially called instead of wasting time, I would have been eligible to cancel.

This is a rip-off and a scam. I thought I was working on the IRS website, as an IRS link appears when an online search is performed. They stole $185. There is no fee to obtain an EIN and I inserted all of my own information, so I’m not sure what they even do with the stolen money. Their website is made to look like the IRS and their email address as well. This needs to stop!
