I bought my husband a King Loot wallet in November 2024 as a Christmas gift. My husband did not care for it so on December 25th I emailed the company to notify them that I would be returning their product. We were out of town and arrived home on December 28th(which was a Saturday). I went online to start the process; however, the website would only give me the option to exchange for an additional charge. I reached out for help and the support team informed me that I missed my return window. Are you kidding!!!! Especially during the holidays. I was so upset and disappointed in customer service. Apparently, you only have 30 days from the day you purchase to return…. which is the worst way to do business around the holidays. Many companies extend their return windows during the holidays to accommodate gift-giving. King Loot did not do this, and their 30-day policy from the purchase date was rigid and unaccommodating. The best they could do was give me a $75.00 gift card, this was only after I posted on Trustpilot, and they responded. Offering a gift card instead of resolving the issue through an exchange or refund is avoiding directly addressing the problem. Why would I want a gift card for products my husband doesn’t like? I proposed that since they were willing to offer me a gift card, could I exchange my husband’s wallet for a wallet that has a pocket for money without any additional charges…and let us return without any additional charges. They refused to work with me…they offered the gift card again. So, after I ordered the wallet, I was notified that my wallet was unable to be delivered…it was damaged. They asked me if I wanted them to send another or cancel the order. I wanted another, so they charged me an additional fee on December 6th to send another wallet. As one last ditch effort to work with this company, I pointed out that because I created a new purchase---technically I started over, therefore my purchase date was December 6th, which meant that returning the wallet on December 28th was well within the return window. Guess what they did? Offered me a $75.00 gift card again!
