Linda Duarte - Realtor at Residential Properties Accused of Fraud and Unprofessional Conduct Rhode Island

My experience with Linda Duarte, supposedly a Realtor at Residential Properties Ltd., has been nothing short of a complete disaster and has led me to believe she is a potential scammer. I connected with her through a Craigslist ad for a real estate listing in South Kingston and subsequently made payments to her during the pandemic. After finalizing what I believed to be the necessary paperwork, she abruptly ceased all communication.

Despite repeated attempts to contact both Linda Duarte and Residential Properties Ltd., including involvement from my legal team, they have denied ever receiving payments from me, even in the face of what I believe is irrefutable evidence. This has forced me to pursue legal action.

Beyond the alleged financial impropriety, Linda Duarte demonstrated extreme unprofessionalism and disorganization throughout the entire process. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a realtor.

Adding insult to injury, my subsequent research has revealed that Linda Duarte may not even be licensed to conduct real estate business in Rhode Island.

I am sharing this experience to support my ongoing legal case and to warn others who may be considering working with Linda Duarte and Residential Properties Ltd. Proceed with extreme caution.
