Location: 12310 Memorial Highway, Tampa, FL Business Address: 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702 Scam Artists Behind It: Louis Pellegrino and Darko Novakovic Don't trust this company, it's a fraud. We were lured in by slick photos and fake promises to rent their so-called "#1 Tampa Waterfront Private Resort – 13BR, Sleeps 40+, Heated Pool, Theater Room" listed at 12310 Memorial Highway, Tampa, FL. The listing promised a luxury estate. What we got was an unsafe, filthy, and fraudulent nightmare. Here’s what they don’t tell you: The "resort” is a rundown Frankenstein mash-up of old, dirty, efficiency apartments. The heated pool was broken and dangerous. The theater didn’t work at all – total false advertising. We were charged extra for firewood that never arrived. The place was disgusting – stained sheets, dirty towels, mold, broken furniture, and a stench throughout the entire property. There was a giant pile of 50+ garbage bags rotting at the front of the property. Electrical wires were exposed, floors were dangerously uneven, and one room literally looked like a prison bunker with concrete walls and stacked bunk beds. We immediately contacted "Luxury Lodging Host” for help. Their response? Dismissive, defensive, and completely unhelpful. No refund. No apology. No accountability. Just a "you’re out of luck” attitude. This company is Deceptive and Dangerous We later found out from Hillsborough County Code Enforcement that the property was in violation of multiple safety and code standards. It should NOT have been rented at all. They're not just bad hosts – they’re violating public safety laws. Worse, this company operates under multiple shell names so they can hide from bad reviews and consumer complaints. It's a textbook scam: Fancy listings and false claims. Overpromise and underdeliver. Blame the guest. Refuse refunds. Rinse and repeat with the next victim.
