Contacted via email Online Outboards.com since no one answers phone and Steve H answered my question in regards to shipping dimensions to provide my freight forwarder for quote, 2 weeks out before a purchase was made online. After I made purchase online, I received contact from Steve Herbert in regards to address in Florida, he claims that he was going to need a release of Liability for shipping, because his opinion is that my given address for shipment my cause damage during shipment.

That being said a counter agreement was drawn up that liability would be released if he could just provide pictures of Tohatsu 9.8, short shaft, it’s serial number, how it would be packed for shipping and who will handle the delivery process from TN to FL. Can’t see why that would be a problem seeing how the liability for free shipping offer just become our problem. Really? Was referred via YouTube however buyers be warned. Would never recommend this company on any platforms.
