On September 26, 2024 Kevin Allen of Ragin Cajun Bail Bonds was retained to post a $10,000 bond in Case Number 24CR042108 in Warren County Court of Common Pleas on behalf of Kirk Wilhite whose date of birth is 07/19/1982.  Kevin Allen required $4750 to post this bond as he said it seems high risk because the bond was an extradition bond which required him to appear in Michigan within 5 days of his release. According to the contract as long as Mr. Wilhite completed the Warren County case in full and met all requirement, Indemnitor would received a refund of $3500 of what was paid.

Mr. Wilhite reported to Michigal immediately upon his release and submitted to their jurisdiction to answer a warrant. On that same day, Mr. Wilhite used a bondsman in Michigan to post bond in the case in Michigan. Since then, then Warren County and Michigan case has been dismissed. Kevin Allen rationalizes that since a case is still pending in Warren County there is no refund due until that case is adjudicated. However, Kevin Allen posted bond on the extradition case, which has been vacated.

The other pending case is a separate charge which prompted the original arrest. Mr. Wilhite has received an OR bond from the court on the case that is still pending and therefore Kevin Allen has nothing to do with it. On 1/28/2025 agent Emily Duggins of Ragin Cajun said we could stop by the bond office tomorrow (the 29th) after 4pm to pick up the check but Kevin Allen is now denying stating they "dont just have the money lying around."
