As a long standing client and someone who spent a lot money and many years with Debbie Swindell I trusted her when she said her new machine endymed could not harm me. WIthin a few hours post treatment I became concerned and within a week I noticed unfavourable changes in my face. I paid 800 pounds towards a course of 6. I had one but was so uncomfortable with it that I asked if I could at least have my money back this was declined. As time passed over the next 2 months I lost a lot a facial suddenly and investigated the treatment myself and it became apparent that many women have suffered unexpected fat loss and nerve damage from radiofrequency treatments. This treatment heats the deeper layer of the skin to extreme degrees and in some people this causes permanent fat loss and nerve and muscle damage. The effect on my mental health was devastating and I had to send my son away because I became to unwell to parent him. Looking in the mirror was very traumatic. I looked years older than just 3 months previous and I looked like I was unwell as well as suffering pain from nerve damage. I asked for my before and after photos and was ignored and told to stop calling the clinic as it was stressing her staff. I approached a number of lawyers however most felt they could not represent me as I do not work and therefore they could not claim loss of earnings on my behalf which would of upped the amount they could claim on my behalf and cover their legal fees. They all saw the damage. I have had to see many plastic surgeons who have written letters regarding my radiofrequency damage however the rejuve insurance team says none of the letters directly say this caused my fat loss.

I do not believe this to be the case however it is another dead end in justice and compensation for myself. I feel a strong need to alerts others of this clinics behaviour in regards to how they treat even loyal clients should something go wrong. I would of been very happy if Debbie had accepted it was her treatment that caused this and offred a refund and some compensation towards treatments to reconstruct my face. I believe there are lawyers at present who are bringing a number of cases like mine into court in london . However like I mentioned because I am not employed they cant get my compensation above the amount required for them to take my case. I have photographic evidence to support my claims. This is highly distressing and permenant. I would be most relieved is Debbie could finally do what is right and give me some monies towards me fixing this mess.
