Hello everyone. My name is: Gerrit Chassee and during the month of: August of: 2025 my bike controller/computer/odometer/speedometer whatever you would like to call it stopped working and so I decided to drive to a store to pick up a new bike controller/computer/odometer/speedometer the name of the store that I bought the new ones from I will not be using here because I do not currently have permission to use the name of the store that sold them to me and it is not the fault of the store or the store owner(s) or the store manager(s) or anyone at the store anyway and so I am just going to leave the detail about the name of the store out other then the fact that it was and is a store in the United States and that I had paid almost: $200 total for all: 5 units all made by Schwinn and all of which broke in very short order. Anyways though I bought all: 5 units from the third store that I stopped that had them and the reason why I bought: 5 of these units was because the sensors to all magnet based bike controllers/computers/odometers/speedometers whatever you would like to call them will eventually fail and eventually need to be replaced.

I just did not know that all: 5 of these wireless sensors to all: 5 of these units that I purchased would need to be replaced so quickly. All: 5 of these sensors were very difficult to install and some of these sensors even broke when I was trying to install them. The sensors that did not break when I was trying to install them I had: 1 of these sensors in question break after only: 1: 12 mile bike ride and the other sensor in question broke before I even had my first bike ride with it and that sensor never even worked for a bike ride at all. The batteries for everything were not the issue because I was using all new batteries and each time one of the wireless sensors to one of the units that I had purchased quit working or started becoming tempermental I had to cut it off and throw it away.

Never once and never in the history of my whole entire life have I ever had it where when a sensor to a magnet based bike controller/computer/odometer/speedometer whatever you like to call it had stopped working I was able to get it to go back to the way that it was again. That has never ever happened and when the sensor stopped working I have always had it where the sensor always ends up going in the trash and there is nothing that I can do to save it. This has been no exception and not only has this been no exception but I have never had sensors fail like this on this regular of a basis in this short of a time. I call that unacceptable.

Sure Schwinn may make great bikes and other bike products that are of high quality but their wireless magnet based bike controllers/computers/odometers/speedometers whatever you like to call them are cheaply made and poorly designed and needless to say I will not be buying such a product again from this company and needless to say I will not be encourageing other people to buy such a product from this company until this company says that they have fixed the problem. This company with their piece of junk bike controller/computer/odometer/speedometer whatever you would like to call it has ruined several of my bike rides because I no longer and I do not ride my bike without a working bike controller/computer/odometer/speedometer whatever you would like to call it.

I am just so glad that I was not spending any nights at my aunt's house in Grand Ledge MI and I am also so glad that I was not on our yearly: 1 week long cottage rental trip when all this was happening or else I would have become so upset. I was already so upset. I then had to purchase a GPS based bike controller/computer/odometer/speedometer because I was so sick of that kind of crap. I am just so glad that this was not with a stationary bike because you of course cannot use a GPS based bike controller on a stationary bike. To whoever it is who is in charge of Schwinn your wireless magnet based bike controller/computer/odometers/speedometers whatever you would like to call them are terrible defective products and these terrible defective products are in the need of some very serious improvement. Please reconsider the poor quality of this product and try to produce a better quality of the same kind of this product.

I see no legitimate reason for this and I would really like your company and the people in charge of your company to say to me and tell me that you are sorry for what I had to deal with concerning this product as a customer. I have had cheap plastic garden hose fittings last longer than the cheap product of yours that I had just mentioned here. If you and your company care about doing the right thing concerning this matter then please stop making all these bad short lived defective sensors for this product. That is really upsetting for me and I lost what I would currently consider a lot of money to me to your company as a result of the junk product that I have mentioned here that is not what I would consider a quality product.

It is time to go back to the drawing board here. Please stop putting your savings and sales over people and persons that buy this product of yours. Quality must have taken a backseat concerning the products that I have mentioned here. To the owner(s) of your company and to the person(s) in charge of your company please be sure to end that. I paid way to much for these mentioned products that lasted way too little time. I don't want to hear any excuses for this and I don't want to hear anyone's lines. Please fix this.
