Taranpreet Singh TJ Avoid Renting from Taranpreet Singh Frisco Texas

I rented this property from Taranpreet Singh and had a very disappointing experience. He pretends to be friendly at first, but when real issues come up, he either ignores them or takes weeks to respond. We had problems with the door that took weeks to fix, and the washer and dryer were never repaired, even after multiple requests. In March, I informed him that we would be leaving the country and asked about early surrender by the end of May, even though the lease officially ended at the end of June. He visited us, asked where we were going to stay while waiting for our flight, and when we said we planned to book an Airbnb, he suddenly acted like a friend and offered to let us stay a bit longer. I clearly told him we’d need about two extra weeks, and he agreed, saying we could just pay for that time. But when June started, he completely changed his position and demanded payment for the entire month, claiming it didn’t matter if we stayed one day or two weeks. He acted like the prior conversation never happened and said I was responsible for the full rent through the end of June, even though we returned the keys and surrendered the property on June 16. To make matters worse, he withheld part of our security deposit with unjustified charges, including $550 for garage door damage (we have video proof that the door was working fine) and utility bills for the period after we moved out. He has ignored multiple requests to provide proof that the garage door was damaged. If you're considering renting from him, get everything in writing, document every conversation, and take videos before you move in and move out. He may seem helpful at first, but once something goes wrong, you're on your own. I would never rent from him again or recommend him to anyone
