My complaint is that i am challenged to write myself. Veterinary Referral Emergency Clinic (VERC) of Pensacola, FL killed my fur baby, Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell was 6 months and 2 days old. I took her to my vets, Davis Animal Hospital (DAH) and they are wonderful, but they closed at 10pm, so we had to go to VERC. She was there from 9:55PM until they killed her. The vet on duty Dr. Kristen Navarro did not attend to her until 1 hour and 23 minutes after we arrived. She had food and liquid in her lungs and needed to be on oxgen until her system was able to pass the obstuction. But that didn't happen, they killed her! I have all the documents from DAH and VERC, that proves the neglect. I am posting a formal complaint against them and the doctor. Department of Professional Regulations is stating there is no neglect on VERC but all the documents prove different. Please do not take your pets to VERC because they will kill them.
