1 and 1 web hosting or 1 and 1 internet or 1 and 1 or 1&1 or 1and1.com is the worst company I have ever dealt with and after cancelling they are still hitting my credit card every month for the last 8 months.  Every time i call they refuse to cancel my service and make do it online and when I do it it never takes.  Then i call a rep to help me and they won't do it.  It's as if they purposefully have made a service that you can never cancel.  Whats even worse is that the person you call doesn't care about you as soon as you say you want to cancel their tone immediately changes.  They treat you like dirt.  Their business model is based on draining you account and 7 million others for $4 or as much as $150 (in my case) a month.  They automatically charge you every month and they don't care if it is a mistake they won't reimburse you.  I even had one of the reps tell me "you better watch your mouth sir." This was in response to me telling him to send me an email telling me why I can't cancel the service right here and now with him.  I asked him why they even bothered having him work there if he can't even do something as basic as cancel my account. 

So after being robbed verbally threatened and treated like a number I've decided to cancel the charges and take my website somewhere else.  Hostgator is giving me unlimited websites with a reseller account for $30.  Why the h*ll am i paying $150 with these retards? Don't ever let anyone else set up your website for you. You will regret it.  1&1 internet is a ripoff machine.  They have the worst and most useless customer service staff known to man and all they tell you is that if you want anything changed or cancelled you have to do it yourself on the website.  1&1 is the worst hosting company on the planet its overpriced and its impossible to cancel once you've signed up stay away from them or you'll regret like I am.  They have stolen over $800 from me and the way they do things is set up to make sure you can't dispute their charges because they won't email you anything and the customer service reps tell you to go to the website and don't do anything at all but sit there and talk down to you like you are a nobody.  I mean not a single one of the reps I spoke with was evenly remotely friendly or even sociable.  Just rude, short, and arrogant.  The facts of this complaint are the following.

Zero customer service

Won't let me cancel my own credit card because some web guy set up my account instead of me.

Hit my card every month without fail for a website that isn't up.

Verbally threatened me on the phone.

Solution = 1 and 1 = 0 Stay away from these losers they are the worst company out there except for GoDaddy.com.
