I paid their stupid upfront fee in good faith, they then sent me a commitment letter that was non committal, then Fed-exed me a huge document that had all sorts of errors in it, wrong size of the land, wrong escrow company, etc... which they then said would be fixed after i paid another fee.  This time they wanted $80,000, but would not allow me to put the moeny into escrow or pay at closing, I absolutely had to pay the money upfront with no security.  Ridiculous.  At this time, the escrow company that was supposedly involved contacted me and said this seemed fraudulent, and they contacted the FBI.

Once the feds were involved, this company all of a sudden answered the phone, and returned emails...until they asked me if they just completed the transaction would i be willing to drop the complaint.  I said all i wanted was to complete the transaction in the first place.  So they send their lawyers calling and asked me to sign off on any and all future complaints, which i said i was willing to do AFTER the loan was done...then they all disappeared again.  They don't answer the phone, don't return emails.  What a joke of a company.  Stay away from them, they are the least professional, crooked company I have come across.  High pressure salesman to get you to pay their filing fees, then disappear.

Update

AUTHOR: dutch - (Canada)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 17, 2010

I would first like to thank this website and its creators for allowing us all to assist one another in staying away from the bad apples.  Now an update on what I wrote a few months ago as it was instigated by this online report;

The president of the company contacted me after seeing this report and said he was disappointed that I felt it necessary to post this online.  The fact still remains that my loan is unfunded and i have not received a refund of my $9000 commitment fee, but the fact that he contacted me and invited me to call him shows that he does care about his reputation and I appreciate that.  Moving forward I am hopeful we can reach a resolution one way or the other.  I did not want to leave the original post online without supplying an update.  So whats next?

I will be working with the companies principal to either get a refund or have them honor their commitment to loan, then i will post a very happy message here and retract anything bad I ever said about them, as they will have earned my respect as a legitimate company and will not belong on this forum at all.  Stay tuned
