2013 NHE Certification Emails Are a SCAM!!

National Housing Enterprise (NHE)
More mortgage scams out of Namibia! Don't be fooled:

http://www.nhe.com.na/housing-financing.php
The Bank of Namibia today said it had been "inundated" by people expressing concerns about a number of "questionable business activities", including text messages that said the targeted person could claim a prize from the central bank.

In a statement, the central bank said such activities were "fraudulent and criminal", and that the bank was investigating the
claims with a view to determining the correct course of action. Activities under investigation included "business concept presentations" and unsolicited text messages and phone calls.

"The bank has requested promoters of various suspected schemes to come forward and make presentations to the Bank of Namibia on their activities with a view for the bank to advise the public appropriately," the statement said.

The statement directed members of the public to the Banking Institutions Act of 1998 to determine whether the schemes were likely to be fraudulent. The act specifies that "no person shall... by any means, including advertising or soliciting, procure or attempt to procure a deposit, or pretend to be a banking institution". If the central bank deems this to
have occurred, it may require the person to repay all the illegally obtained money.

"The bank encourages members of the public to continue reporting any suspicious business operations that appear to have the characteristics of illegal schemes," the central bank said.

Nowadays you'd have to be a complete moron to click any link from overseas from an organization you are not doing business with or have no immediate interest in. Be smart online.
