210-774-4148 Charles Whitfield Scamming for money Unknown city, Internet/Texas

A few weeks ago I began recieving emails from someone stating they have a "case" against me that I owe money to a "Cash Advance" company. After several back and forth emailed conversations, I have yet to see any legal documentation or proof of this allegation. I was simply informed that the case had been "downloaded".

 I recieved a call today from a Mr. Charles Whitfield stating that he was calling from a law firm in Texas. "Mr. Whitfield" was very combative and rude as he went on to say  that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. He stated that unless I paid $1,070 to him he would proceed with the warrant. He could not tell me the name of the company he represented only that it was a Cash Advance (type) of company, or provide any written documentation to support any allegation. All he could say was that the company he represented told him to call and attempt payment and that "they" deposited a dollar amount into my bank account in 2012. I did all the research that I could and of course did not have any money deposited into my account. I continued to ask for legal documentation to support the claim and did not  recieve any. He did provide a case number, but again after research not only do I NOT have a warrant but I have been completely unable to gain ANY other access or information on this company. The Phone number does NOT come back a valid one after a widspread search on the internet.

Sources have told me the process of being served with a warrant, and NOTHING that has gone on through this process has been valid OR legal. Please be careful if you happen to come across a situation such as this!!
