Then threatened to sue me when I told them I wouldn't pay for a nonworking machine. At Which point he threatened to sue rather than offer to make the unsafe junk equipment work. Concord California

1)Know that contractor's are only allowed to collect 10% in advance of the work performed not 50% by CA law. 2)Always get 3 bids (which includes ALL details like make and model of heater to be installed and cost) from different company's. 3) Make sure to look up the companys license on the state of California website. The company doing work must have the right license- if they are allowed to have workers with their license great. If not make sure the people in your home are licensed subcontractors! 4) I had to rip out the awful machine installed not to code by this company that stopped working 3 days after install. Save yourself the HUGE hassle I have to now deal with. 5)I found a fantastic company that installed amazing equipment, obtained permits etc. Yes the bid was a bit higher but we'll worth the additional money- the machine works effeciently, quietly and they sealed All of my boot jacks (where the heat comes out) were sealed with special tape making the system about 15% more effecient. Said of 411 is a confidence man he sells machines but don't be tricked by his smooth friendly deamenor, it's an act! He tells me, "I wish there were more people like you" bet he has used that line thousands of times! Save Yourself, Do Not do it!!!
