Beware of starting any business that is linked to Jeff Paul Systems and the internet marketing scam he designed. I got involved last September, 2003 with what I thought was going to be a great way to earn money without carrying an inventory of goods at my home by signing on with Jeff Paul.

They promoted a good story, telling me that I would be in their "Success Team" and asked all kinds of questions relating to my finances and if I would approve of my testimony being on TV. They wouldn't want it after my experience with them over the last few months, I can assure you.

Immediately after purchasing, investing, or whatever else they want to call it, they had a company contact me regarding a 'merchant account'. That company Federal Expressed forms for me to sign and return the following day. Noah Weiner of Wonderpay said there was no need to read it all, just sign it and return it, because it had to be done in such a hurry.

Never again will I do anything like that! The contract stated that it was for a 'virtual terminal', that they could cancel at any time they got ready, but I had to have specific reasons to cancel. So they started out with $200 of mine, and started charging me $69 every month for a lease, and $30/month for various other things.

Never once did I receive money through this service. Never have I received any such 'virtual terminal'. I have received nothing from them but about $1200 in checking account withdrawals. The contract was for $64/month, but for some reason they withdrew $69 each month, along with another $30 for no activity on account.

I let them know by letter that the company I had started had dissolved and that I no longer needed this service, and I even asked them WHAT a 'virtual terminal' was and WHERE it was. No response to MY letter. However, they have written to tell me that I have defaulted and owe a tremendous amount of money to them.

They also said in their recent letter: "You are to immediately return, at your expense, the equipment leased to you at our offices. Failure to return the equipment will result in you being assessed the value of the equipment as a consequence of your breach of the lease".

Also, if they deem appropriate, I could be charged extra for equipment to be refurbished. I never received anything from them after the initial paperwork was mailed back in to them.

Plus, they are going to turn me over to collections, their law firm and the credit bureau. All this for an initial investment of $39.95 plus shipping was granted me from Jeff Paul Systems. Why can't anything be done to stop these crooks?

I wish there was a TV channel or newspaper that would expose and publish such scams as these. They know that people these days are in a hurry, and some are just more trusting than others. In the future, I don't plan to be so trusting!
