The company lied and told me that I needed to pay a double deposit to live in the Meadow Glen Mobile Home Park, so I did. During the time I resided there, there was one problem after the next. The floors in several different areas of the home kept softening and turning into holes, due to the leaky pipes under the floor, it took several visits for them to attempt to fix the floors, when I moved a year later the floors were continuing to disintegrate. The leaky water heater ruined an entire room floor and wall, and the leaky dishwasher was never fixed. So, I decided not to renew my lease with them.

After moving out I called to inquire about the remainder of the double deposit I thought I was owed. Because I moved out on the 9th, I was told that I had to still pay the entire month's rent and that  they don't prorate the rent when you are moving out. In the end, they in truth never charged me a double deposit, but used it instead for little costs in between the rental payments I made, having me under the impression that my double security deposit is ok.

This is wrong! How can a company make a person believe they are charging them for one thing and are really just using their money for their own means. Don't fall prey to A. R. C. Communities and the shabby upkeep of their homes. How can it be legal for the rental ledger they printed off for me to clearly state that the money was intended for a double deposit, yet not used for that purpose?
