AAA Auto Club South Paid for a service that was never given to me! Plantation Florida

I paid for a AAA Membership, which I thought would be fine since AAA (I thought) had a good reputation. My car became vandalized at my home and I needed it towed to the mechanic.

I called AAA expecting to get a tow truck to my house within the hour. I was told by AAA both by a Customer Service Rep and the Supervisor that I couldn't use ANY of my membership services until 15 days had elapsed from the time I paid for my annual membership. Well, they had already debited my card the FULL yearly membership fee and told me I COULD get a reduced towing fee since I was within the 15 days before my membership services would take place. Why would anyone go with AAA when you still have to pay for a tow out of pocket? Neither the customer rep nor the supervisor would fix it so I could get my car towed so yes, I had to not only pay for a yearly AAA membership (with no service), I also had to pay the tow truck out of pocket.

Well AAA, either bill me AFTER the 15 days have elapsed or don't tell me I have a membership when you got paid in FULL and you don't deliver the services that most American count on from you. Thanks for leaving me out in the rain when I needed you the most. I'll never go back to AAA after this membership runs out and BELIEVE me everyone I know from my co-workers to friends and neighbors will be hearing this story and I'll pressure them to switch over to Better World Club which is more environmentally friendly (I had no idea AAA Auto Clubs actually lobbies against environmental protection), AAA Auto Clubs discriminate against gay couples having the same membership as straight couples, and has the same rates. Screw you AAA Auto Clubs!!! I'm going with http://www.betterworldclub.com and I'm making a point to make sure everyone I know will, too! Thanks for letting the whole world know how badly you treat paying members.
