Wish we had known about Ripoff Report before we got involved with Abode Air Conditioning. They are crooks, cons and thieves!
"Abode Air in Tempe, AZ - A $39.99 Special that was solicited over the phone turned into a $7000.00 + nightmare!
Air conditioner was working just fine until the tech showed up, went up into the attic, recommended to replace a couple of parts that would make the unit run just like a "Brand New Unit."
$1700 later (parts and a $1153 10 year warranty), within 3 hours from when the tech left, realized that the air conditioner had not gone off at all and that the temperature was rising INSIDE the house."
The above posted by another poor victim, but our story w/ Abode is nearly identical, only we ended up having to replace our entire unit w/ another unit - cost? $8,000.00
Now they are back, this time as DELTA AIR CONDITIONING - exact same people in the office and same techs. Now they want $500.00 parts/labor to replace a capacitor on a BRAND NEW UNIT 1 year old. Getting a second opinion on this one. Oh, and they tried to pressure us by telling us if we didn't let the tech do it right now, it would void our warranty!!!!!! To prevent us having someone else come and check. Made an appt w/ another more reputable company the minute the guy left. Also going to call the attorney general's office & BBB. These guys are scammers.

delta air has been in business for 10 years.3 years before abode ever went into bussiness.we only offered to service the prior customers of abodes contracts.after abode went out of bussiness..check bbb for facts..sorry abode botched your install so bad it was in need of repairs and that they didnt offer to up grade your system like the tech from delta did..i know your upset about needing assesories and repairs and you should be,but we would be remiss in our duty to provide the best service possiable if we didnt tell you what was wrong..be mad at ron dew at abode not delta air..ron has opened up acme air then acme home services and they are who you should be mad at..check acme air out on central az bbb or call roc and attorney general
