We submitted a refinance application with Aclarian Mortgage at 4.875% for 30 years fixed - with a loan lock. We were told that the lender was The Huntington National Bank, out of California.
Aclarian claims Huntington was overwhelmed with applications and that they applied for further extension locks - and have the emails to prove it. However, after nearly 2 months!, they also say that Huntington "made some mistakes" and is not honoring the rates.
We did everything asked of us within the timeframes specified. However, Aclarian basically lied to us by saying all along that everything was fine and in the end not living up to their end of the deal. Now the rates are back up and we're screwed with no recourse!
