I received 3 similar e-mails that I thought were junk- but the statement that they were billing my credit card made me decide to Google "Active Advantage scam." Thankfully, others had reported a similar experience which made me find last year's credit card bill where I found I had been billed by the same company for a similar amount a year ago.  I recall seeing the transaction last year but couldn't remember what it was for- and decided to let it go thinking it must have been for something legitimate.

I have no idea what I registerd for or signed up for that would have lead to the "trial membership" that I was billed for last year....and that committed me to annual renewals unless I cancel.
