We were living in a rental home with the option to buy. we had a one year lease. payments were made to our landlord on time, and since the current loan was with aegis, we decided to use them to. spoke with a young man name Mike, i have his last name some where. gave him my info, he said i was approved in about 30 min. this was in august, he drug this out until nov, at which time i had to get 4500.00 to aegis or the home was going into foreclosure, because they said we did not have to pay sept., oct. nov. rent, they were gonna tag it on the loan. everyday this guy called wanting this, and that, paper work, more and more, and each time i would say is this it now, yes mam he would say, we will be closing in a few days. a few days never came, i also paid for a 300.00 to a mr.

jeff johnson, who also made the channel five news here for screwing over a couple. i never received my copy of the appraisal as promised by him and aegis. they shut the fayetteville office down with no warning to us, we were still thinking we were in the running. we found out the hard way when someone hung a note on our door. we started working with another broker at right choice mortage in raleigh, n.c., he did not have enough time to get everything together to close, and as of tuesday morning july 31,2007. we are for the first time in my life homeless. we have exhausted all of our savings, we have no family here, we have animals, i am a nurse with ms, and we have no money and no where to go thats our night mare. after tuesday, to anyone who reads, stay clear of aegis.
