We were never told that we were getting an arm. The loan officer disappeared at the closing telling us he had to meet the closing and show her how to get to our office and never came back.
The agent came asked where he was. When we told her what he said she said she had never spoken to him. She tried to reach him but he wouldn't answer the phone.
We went ahead with the closing and that's when we found out it was an arm. They kept pushing the closing off telling us not to pay our mortgage so as not to mess up the payoff. So we were forced to take this deal.
Also they did not give us the Good Faith Estimate within 72 hours after application. We have an appraisal dated for April 19th 2002. A Good Faith Estimate dated for April 30th 2002. and an application dated May 3 2002.
