Affordable Transmission ripoff Kept my car for almost a month Madison Tennessee

I took my car to Affordable transmission on 2/09/04 and didn't get back until 2/26/04. I called almost daily after my car had been there approximately a week only to be informed that they had not yet started repairing my car.

I explained to the owner that I needed my car for work and that I would not be able to work without my car and he promised to have by the end of the week. I did not receive my car back until Thursday of the following week.
Approximately an month later my transmission went out again being under warranty I called the owner who told me to bring it back.

My car was towed back on 4/04/04 and I called the owner to see how long before I would get it back he informed that on Saturday 4/17/04 he would be taking my transmission out.

I called again on Thursday 4/22/04 and again asked if my car would be ready today; the owner again told me he would try for later that afternoon.

On Friday 4/23/04 I called several times and got the voice mail upon arriving at Affordable transmission I found that the owner was out of town and the employees knew nothing about my car and that my car had not been repaired.

Today is 4/28/04 and I am still waiting for my car and have spent over $200 in rental cars plus the $1000.00 I have paid for them to repair my transmission the first time.

Do not use this business unless you have a month to wait on your car to be repaired.
