Alan Webb Nissan Advertised a Vehicle on Craigslist.com - the AD then took me to their website where they listed the vehicle as high end, with options such as cruise control, keyless entry, bed liner, power mirrors, and custom bumpers. They gave the VIN number and stock number of the vehicle and based the price on high Kelley Blue Book. I called the dealership and the salesman supposedly got in the vehicle and went over every item with me on the phone. (Knowing full well the options didn't exist on this vehicle he just lied about them)
I drove over 150 miles to the dealership with my Dad who test-drove the vehicle I didnt do the test drive because I was buying the vehicle for him. He wasn't aware of the Advertised options so he didnt know anything was missing. I paid for the vehicle but they wouldn't let me see it because they said, it was being detailed and we needed to do the paperwork first. They took so long for the paperwork that they suggested we go have lunch and then come back for the vehicle but while we were at the restaurant eating the salesman came in and delivered the keys to us. They also said they were going to give us a full tank of gas before we came back but that was also a lie - they put 2 gals of gas in the vehicle.
Since I drove my car home and dad drove the vehicle I didn't get to see it until we got home. When I discovered that all the options were missing and had been completely misrepresented - I called the General Manager, Cameron and he laughed at me and said, I guess the vehicle we advertised doesn't exist does it! I recorded him making that rude, taunting statement. I will never deal with that company again.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is how you were treated at Alan Webb Nissan.  As a first time new car buyer that purchased from that dealership, I too felt as if I was ripped off.  Stewart the finance manager, as well as Cameron the general manager, are only concerned about making money.  They'd probably sell their own mother to the devil for some cash.  Everytime I call either of them about a concern post purchase, they ensure me that they'll call back.  Of course, they never do.  I was suppose to get money back from a cancelled warranty over a month ago (Stewart didn't mention that all new nissans come with a standard warranty of course).  Guess what, still no money, and still no answers.  I have several other similar frustrations.  Bottom line, these people care about you until you sign your name on the contract.

Alan Webb Nissan did the right thing this Buyer did Not! Read How

AUTHOR: Alan Webb Nissan - (U.S.A.)

Once again, this unhappy buyer...who will never be happy...even when offered a full refund spouts off again. The buyer illegally records her phone conversations and please do contact her if you would like to hear them...You will hear that our assertions are true and correct. She was offered a full refund...but once again got such a great deal she did not want to give it back.

We are glad to have the opportunity to work with you. We will prove our commitment to complete owner satisfaction.

FALSE CLAIM BUYER HAS BEEN OFFERED FULL REFUND BUT REFUSES BECAUSE SHE GOT SUCH A GREAT DEAL-

AUTHOR: Alan Webb Nissan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, December 02, 2007

The Buyer of this vehicle did come into the Nissan dealership and did look the truck over inside and out. The Truck admittedly was listed with several options that it did not have. ie. Bed liner, keyless entry etc. This was mistakenly listed in error on-line by the folks who put our vehicles online for us. The buyer called the following day to ask what we were going to do to about it...I told her there are two ways a dealership can handle a situation like this...A dealer can tell you too bad you bought it...Which most do! Or, they can make it right by refunding your full purchase price...Which is what I offered to do. I told her to bring the vehicle back and we would refund her every penny she paid...

She did not want to do this for more than one reason. The biggest being she got an exceptional buy on the truck! She paid well below wholesale even without the options that were listed online and additionally paid well below the advertised price. We do not have a policy of filling the tanks on used vehicles. We did put $20 in gas in the tank which did not quite fill it up. In some cases we advertise "Print this ad and bring it with you for a full tank" We do this to make sure people are working with the Internet Department and that we can identify which Internet web site they found us on. She did not print the ad and bring it with her....

We are a large dealership who strives to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with a vehicle purchase and service. We even have a 1,000 mile 30 day warranty on all our pre-owned vehicles. We understand that there are some people who may have personal issues who will never be happy regardless of the service they are provided or deal they are offered. We are a full service dealership with a Service department open 6 days a week and full service body shop. We would be honored to prove our commitment to our customers' satisfaction to you. In an effort to ensure the vehicles in Alan Webb Nissan's inventory have what is listed online we have physically inspected each and every vehicle and ensured they are listed accurately. Visit us at alanwebbnissan.com

In the event a mistake is made as we are all STILL Human. Alan Webb Nissan will make every effort to remedy the error. Our mission is to be the #1 Nissan dealership in the Portland area

Come on, YOU bought and paid for a car you never looked at or drove? All you had to do was sit in. Remember, if a car guy's lips are moving, he's lying.
