Alex Paonessa Contracting Home repairs never done, was told it was and paid for. Internet

This was the second job he did for me.  First was fine.  When he reported the work was done, I paid him.  When I got to the house (selling it), nothing was done.  I tried to contact him, but his numbers are disconnected.  I checked with bank, and check was cashed.  I'm a single mom struggling, and can't afford this lose.  The work was to help sell the house, so it does not go to foreclosure. 

Please, I need help and direction on what else I can do.  I have copies of estimate and cancelled check.
