Purchased in late June 2018. 2 days later, using the large pan for the first time, I burned my hand (notice the cover handles are not insulated). I was using a hop pad but bumped my arm, it startled me and I dropped the lid about 16-18 inches onto the countertop. It shattered into a million pieces. No problem I thought, It is fully warranted. This is how All Clad describes their products. - "made to our uncompromising standards - ensuring ultimate kitchen performance and durability for a lifetime."

I wrote to the manufacturer and this is their sad response. "Please be advised being the glass lid was dropped it is not covered under warranty. You can use a universal lid that will fit on top of the pan."

The pans are good but the whole set is made in China - apparently, they cant get replacement parts. I would NOT PURCHASE THIS SET or ANYTHING from this company based on a misleading warranty and the way they handled this issue.
