I purchased 18 months of Dish Network from Andy Steeples at the Ontario Convention Center sometime in the last 10 months. Andy promised a charge of $55.99 a month. Dish Network charged us $75 a month. After days of haggling and hours and hours on the phone with Dish foreign service reps, we were able to get the charge down to $59.99 a month, BUT GUESS WHAT? Dish continues to charge us $64 a month. WE WILL LEAVE DISH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!
Also, altho I have a full home protection plan, Allegro does not return calls to re-align our dish after fierce southern california santa ana winds. Local retailers want $79.99 to re-align it. Dish Network itself will charge only $29.99, but there is an 8 day wait!
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ALLEGRO DIGITAL SATELLITE, ANDY STEEPLES OR DISH NETWORK!! THEY ARE ALL RIP-OFF ARTISTS!

DISH Network is not the one that lied to you here. Retailers cannot give a discount on DISH Network's prices. Also, did you even bother to look at your bill of $64? Sounds about right for a programming package that costs $59.99, as there are various taxes that DISH Network MUST charge you for.
Also, if the retailer had done the installation correctly the first time, you could have had a hurricane and the only way that dish would have moved itself is if the object it was mounted to moved. Most concerns with DISH Network on this site seem to actually be the fault of the little satellite companies - 3rd party retailers who don't really care about their customers, they figure it's someone else's problem once they get their commission check.
