Allied Capital Finance Corp. Another advance fee loan scam Trenton New Jersey

Beware of Allied Capital Finance corp (www.allicapfi.com). They are another on of your standard fraud companies using a legitimate US based companies name to lure people in. I was recently scammed by this organization of criminals for $793.81 for what was supposed to be a security deposit on a secured loan of $7,000.00.

Because I was in a desparate time of need for finances I didn't do the research I should have on this imposter company. They spoof all their phone numbers which should have been a red flag but unfortunately I didn't catch that in time. I'm sure I don't need to go into too much detail since this is your typical advance fee scam but a quick rundown of the process that I was involved in goes as follows: I applied for a personal loan online on three different websites,

approx. 2 days after I submitted my applications I received a phone call from a Ms. Donna Myrick (an alias of course) that told me I could possibly be approved for a loan of $7000 depending on the matter of securing the loan. She then proceeded to give me three different options to secure the loan. 1: use a vehicle that had to be newer than a 2006 model 2: submit a new application with a cosigner or 3: secure my loan with a deposit of approx. 10% of the loan value. Well of course the only option that seemed possible for me was the cash "security" deposit. I did not have anyone to co-sign nor did I have a vehicle newer than 2006.

So after the options were explained to me I asked what the process would be as far as showing that I had these funds available. She stated that I would have to moneygram these funds to the third party lender going by the name of Paul Kingsley ( another huge red flag that I was unaware of ). After that transaction was made I had to call back the rep. Ms. Donna Myrick to report the ref. number on the wire and once I did that my check would be issued for overnight delivery. Once the next day came and went I then called back allied capital finance to ask where my check was. I did receive a call back stating that there was a problem with the third party lender approving my loan because of a flaw in their system.

At this point I had done some research on this scam and how it works and I was waiting for the "we are going to require more funds to push this through the system" or "you were a higher risk than previously thought" but I did not get any of this! What I did get was a statement claiming that a refund was available and I would be contacted by someone from their customer support branch. Well days have passed now and numerous phone calls have been made to this company and no reply. Allied Capital Finance Corp (www.allicapfi.com)is a SCAM!
