Allied Waste Services Charging for services not rendered, no discussions nothing, only threatening to send to collections if not paid that day. Seattle Washington

In December of 2007 we requested a container from Allied Waste Company for waste to be delivered to our Seattle location we were vacating. The person I spoke with at the Allied waste office sent out the wrong dumpster size to the site. I called about this right away and the correct size dumpster was then delivered.

The first time I received the bill 1/22/08 I immediately called the office to inquire about a few questionable charges. I addressed these charges each and every time I received a bill by calling the company. The first time and every other time I have called since I was told that someone would get back in touch with me to settle this. I never heard anything from anybody in office of Allied Waste by phone call. All I received as far as communication from this company was the same bill over and over again as if nothing was ever addressed.

On 2/22/08 the second bill I received I paid $1,000.00 toward the bill less what I was disputing. In March of 2008 I spoke with Joanne in Accounts receivable and offered to pay the difference of my balance of $325.00 less the disputed charges until this could be settled. She also told me she would get back to me about this and let me know what was going on with this and I figured I would pay the balance at that time.

I still received no phone calls from this company only another bill and never heard anything from anybody in the office at Allied Waste. So, since my phone calls had proven to be useless I wrote a letter in the hopes to get this settled once and for all. This also was proven to be futile. Instead of any phone call or letter acknowledging the mistakes they made on the billing, all they did was leave a message instead of talking directly to me saying and I quote final bill is correct and this will be going to 3rd party for collection today. So I called right away and paid the balance because I did not want our good Credit to be effected by this dishonest company

They are charging us for services not rendered and why because they think they can get away with this illegal behavior. They are crooks what else would you call a company charging for services not rendered and then threatening to send to collection if not paid.

I am disputing:

# 1) 12/11/07 Container Delivery $75.00 this was the wrong container and we were charged in addition for the correct container delivery. It was filled and you did pick it up so I have paid for that portion. We did fill the incorrect size dumpster so I am not disputing the charges for pick up of that one.

# 2) 12/12/07 Dry Run? Not sure what thats all about and nobody has contacted me to explain this but it is on the incorrect container charges.

#3) 12/31/08 Rental for 12/18/08 12/31/07 $96.12 of which it appears $44.24 was credited. In reality we should have no charges for this week for this smaller container at all it was delivered incorrectly filled once and once only by our employees and taken away by Allied Waste trucks after one week.
