XXX BUYER BEWARE XXX BAD SERVICE XXX Atlanta Luxury Motors, Union City, GA
I purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot XLE with high miles. I was told that they have a 155 point inspection (CRAP) that checks out the vehicle for sale. I drove it had no problems initially. Less than 2 weeks later, I see a check engine light and TPMS on the dash. Took it to Auto Zone and had them check the code, which said that all CYLINDERS WERE MISFIRING!
I called ALM South and asked my sales guy to have this Honda Pilot looked at by their service department, since it has been only less than 2 weeks and they claimed to have had a thorough inspection done before sale!
He first told me that they will check it out, but then comes back and tells me that since it is high mileage they will not be looking at it any further!! Really, until I bought it - it was all great but then it got no attention!!!
I called the Manager, and he returned a call after 1 whole week and persisted he couldn't help because it was a used vehicle. I agree I should have checked it with a mechanic before purchase, but where is their honesty and integrity with vehicles sold on their lot??
I asked if they could only check and rectify and I will gladly take the vehicle and all would have been fine. But they would not go any further.
The interesting thing is that one of their sales guys called me about vehicles for sale. I told him not to call back, as I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE but called me again and when I told him of my plight he just hung up!!!
I SPENT $2700 AT A NEARBY HONDA DEALERSHIP AND STILL SHOWS THE SAME LIGHT.... TODAY AFTER 2 MONTHS.
WHAT A CRAPPY PLACE TO BUY MY FIRST SUV - 2006 HONDA PILOT XLE. THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GREAT EXPERIENCE BUT ALM SOUTH, UNION CITY, GEORGIA WOULD NOT MAKE IT RIGHT.
One star for the sales guy who seemed honest about his side of things.... other than that I have NO STARS for ALM South, Union City, GA 30291.
I would have no problem if they would buy this back with the cost of repairs I have already put into this 2006 Honda XLE.
